This painting was inspired by a dream that my sister had. I made some changes/embellishments to the original details of the story, but the idea is the same.
There is a strong sense of movement emanating from both the pose of the figure, and the 'streaks' of paint. Either one could of course imply fluidity on its own, so it will be interesting to see what balance you strike in the final version.
